Female called saying her name was Stephanie Evans with the Department of Legal Services. She claimed that a claim was filed against my name and gave me the last four of my social. She said a complaint was filed on me, giving me the name of my local Sheriff's Department. She asked that I called this number back within the next 72 hours to prevent process from getting served. I just received a voicemail from a female identifying herself as Stephanie Evans w/ Department of Legal Services, stating that due to a 72 hour state of notice that either myself or my legal counsel would need to mediate a matter court of court. However, if I wanted to have the matter dismissed I would need to contact her directly at 716-204-7204. The entire message makes absolutely no sense. Only if I want the matter dismissed do I contact her directly, did not leave a number for the mediation portion of the message. I have been receiving these types of calls for over two years now and it is getting old. I keep a close eye on my credit report and I do not have anything that would warrant these types of phone calls
