→ The DNC isn't a call blocker and can not protect you from the illegal callers, extortion scammers, foreign country's and frauds. Criminals do not obey laws simply said. They use spoofed numbers which make it hard to track them down.. it takes time to do this and many subpoenas for call records. ←
Debt Collectors and the government do not fall under the DNC which is only for telemarketers who try to sell you goods and/or services. Charity, Political, and some Survey's are exempt from the DNC as well. Survey's that try to sell goods or services after the survey are not exempt from the DNC no matter what they say otherwise!

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
