Called back in their off-hours and got their answering machine. The dude had a weird accent that I couldn't place. It's some loan company, likely a telemarketer for them. It's a scam to get business, I'm pretty sure of that. Company is in Tonawanda, NY.
the caller id says that the call is from buffalo ny asked if I filled out a loan request for 5000,00 which I have not filled out a payday loan in 2 years and I told the caller with a thick foreign accent that and not to contact again
I applied for a pay day loan and this person called trying to get my account number and then told me in order to get the loan I had to put a security deposit down in order to get the loan. Are you serious buddy?! Watch out.
They keep calling!!! And from different numbers! It's been over a year! I never applied for anything, they keep asking for a Jacquelyn (which is NOT my name). I tried EVERYTHING: putting my numbe r on the national DNC list, informing them they have the wrong number, ignoring their calls, asking them several times to stop calling & to put me on their dnc list but to no avail. What else can I do short of changing my number?
