Today I just received a call from these people saying there's a claim I have to settle? I don't have any claims, I'm just a full-time college student that works two jobs. Don't own anything other than my cellphone, which is paid two weeks in advance every month. Also said my claim was in Orange County, I don't even live in Orange County, I live in New Jersey and there is no Orange County in New Jersey (from what I'm aware, even looked it up). Can't stand scammers.
Searay is not a legitimate collections company. They are scammers trying to collect on fake debt. They use harsh tactics and leave threats on voicemail. Please report them to your AG and the consumer financial protection bureau. If they keep calling hang up. A man who's name he claimed was Bruce called my phone numerous times when I refused to give him any information.
