Stated he was an officer from the FBI and that there is a legal action against me and I was going to be arrested if I didn't comply. When I asked who the legal action was from he said he was going to transfer me to his supervisor and began yelling and hung up.
This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Got my call from this number and a phoney sam nelson one im a officer and a marine if the US calls you'll be able to understand what there saying two this guys agent number is like 11 didits long its all fake coarse hes using a router to allow them to use any random number just dont answer they'll be caught soon enough.
I got the call claiming on my voicemail that he is from the FBI and claimed I will be arrested if I don't return the call and he gave a badge number or something. This needs to stop especially at 8 in the morning.
i recevied a call from this number the caller had a very thick accent and was asking me for sexual favors and saying I was going to jail bc of a payday loan if I didnt comply with the sexual favors he was asking for.
