how annoying, yes 3 times this week they called and asked for the person who pays the PPL bill and I told them each time I wasn't interested and to remove my #. and they called 5 times yesterday and hung up when I answered. Extremely frustering. can't seem to block this unknown #.

got a call this morning, the lady asked if i wanted a discount for my electric bill, i said what company are you , she said Itt power. i said i used ppl. she was very demanding, on trying to get my ppl account number. i said , can you send me something in the mail?? she said she can't do that, i said well i'm not agreeing with anything, until i get something in writing, that shut her up...
Same thing just happened to me....the girl asked for head of household who pays PPL. I said it was me and she asked if I have a current provider and I said yes I already chose someone and she just "hung up on me"
Well, DUH! She asks if you already have a provider? Is there anybody with a phone who does not have a company providing electricity? Does she really think you are sitting there in the dark waiting for some electric company to call and provide electricity to your household? Of course you already have a provider. People are getting more stupid by the minute! Anyway, this whole "electric choice" hoopla was just another nonsense scam.
