Got a fraudulant text message from 717-602-7804. Called the number instead of texting back and does not work but sent text and it receives text. called the other number that the text asked to call 717-533-6800, the system/person pickes it up but hangs up immidiatly.
Got the same message, called my bank security services and they don't have any idea why the text was sent and they affirmed that they don't text. Called my bank, and they also don't have any idea as well. Called both the numbers the 5336800 picks the phone and hangs up, the other one is not in the system at all. So I wondered how they were able to send a text message or were able to text or rerout a non working number on a text capable device, to a receiver cell phone with a callar ID? need to research more.....if they are capable to rerout a fake number in the text rules, FCC must be aware and find out how they did it, because this is a high tech capability.
