They hung up before I could get to the phone. Within seconds I got a call from "757-085-7110", which is an invalid phone number -- no exchange (the middle numbers) starts with zero or one. When I answered the call a woman said "Hello?" and then disconnected.
It's probably not worthwhile bothering to answer calls outside of my home area code -- and even then, those end up being "Rachel from Cardholder Services!"
Maybe all calls that aren't registered in my phone should just go to voicemail?
Had to go through a few pages of searching to see that this number is a FOP call.
No message. For those who don't know what FOP is = Fraternal Order of Police - this one had Harrisburg, PA in the ID.
These FOP calls with just city and state in the ID are usually bogus. Not my city, and sometimes not my state either.
Not related to your local police department at all and most often takes a good part of the majority of what they do collect instead of giving it to the 'company' they 'might' be calling for.
I don't do any 'electronic' charity. I will make my own choices thank you.
I am calling this a prank just because I don't like any charity solicitation to any of my phones.
