I received a call from this number but before I could pick up, they hung up. After looking at all the comments, I decided to not call them back and blocked the number.
Call to my cellphone at 4:14 pacific time. No message left. Caller ID says unknown but number is the one listed here, and the 033 prefix caught my attention. Caller is now blocked.
Missed call yesterday. Odd they had my number because I recently got a new one and hadn't given it out yet. Specifically asked my carrier for a non-recycled number so how the hell did they get it so quickly?
I do not work for your carrier, but I would think finding a true "virgin" number is very difficult to do (if there are any left-there are between 700M-800M assigned geographic telephone numbers in the US). And even if your number wasn't previously used, a robo-dialer dialing every number in a given area code + exchange will find it rather quickly.
