New cell phone & new number! Caller is Premier Walk-in Tubs, and other times a credit card company (claiming to be), but won't give name. They want to lower your interest rate, but if you listen to their speech about it, it can cost you between $35 & $50 for them to lower it. They usually say it is a one time fee. This IS A SCAM!
They talked a friend of mine into it. She had just hung up from it, and told me about the reduced interest rate, and the cost. I told her to call her bank and cancel payment because it was a scam. Then to call the company and cancel with them. When she called back the company it said there was no such number.
I got same call. I did give some info but I got curious and ask questions and she knew when my last payments were paid the first 5 digits of my credit cards - what credit cards I had. I told her I did not feel comfortable and she said she understood but by law cant ask the last the three digit code, my social security number and something else. So she does have some of my credit card numbers. SHe is to call back to get another card number as I didn't have it on me. I feel raped.
