I received a call from this number, with a heavy accent, saying it was important I return his call as he was a taking legal action against me. Have a card ready to pay he said.
Got the same information except the call came to my work number and they asked for my husband by name. He said I should have received a notice . I told him I handled all our mail and had never received anything. There has to be a way to stop this kind of scam!
Just got the same call(US Dept of Treasury Legal Affairs)...I told him, "your scam won't work on here, try someone else" and he hung up on me! Called the number back and the same guy answered, but gave a different name.

I got a call from this number and guy with heavy accent talk to me saying that he was from department of treasury. He said that I got a legal issue with The US Drpartment of Treasury. Department does not communicate by phone is by letters only.
