This number called my DNC listed landline today at 1603 hours. Because 99% of the calls I receive on my landline are scam artists, I picked up the phone but said nothing. After a few seconds, a computerized female voice said, "Goodbye" and the call disconnected. Then, naturally, I came here to see what scam they were attempting. The number has now been blocked, at least until they spoof a new one. This is something of a record for me. The last scam artist call I got was back on May 30th. I went nearly 13 days without a single scam phone call on my home landline! (I wish I could say the same about our company landline.) The long, blissful hiatus almost make me wonder if scam artists take vacations in the summer.
