This number called today and treated my family with arrest because we did something wrong with our taxes (which we did not) . They represent themselves as the IRS people . It is very scary experience. I have found out that this number is calling from New York .Please inform the FBI about them.Here they are….

Like above, caller represented himself as irs agent. Askedd for personal info, and hung up when threatened with my initiating line of questioning to determine identity. We have used tax preparers for years and know that this is not the way an agency initiates contact.
He called my phone here at work earlier today and again in the late afternoon. Both times he left messages on my voice mail. The first time he didn't tell me where he is from. He said he is from some criminal investigation firm and to call 718 303 2161. I didn't. The second call he said his name was Eric Johnson and he is from the IRS and that I need to call immediately because there is a criminal investigation going on with me. He first said to call 213 785 8821 and then said no, sorry, call 718 303 2161.
Indian accent with an American name stating that they were calling from the some sort of government agency and that I received a grant. LOL. Then wanted to Western Union me money. HAHA!
I receive calls from 2 numbers... 718-303-2160 & 718-303-2161 at all hours of the day and into the evening..IRS Telephone Scam... Always the same message about the IRS is filing a suit against me. I know I don't owe anything so I'm not worried about it. However, it is annoying. They are filling up my messages every day! How do they get my cell #? It is not listed and I have been on the National Do Not Call list for many years!!
