Who called from 7183032998

Has called several times in May 2009.  Caller ID says "Local Area Call" but 718 is not a Maryland area code.  I never answer numbers I don't recognize.

Called Memorial day at 10:15 AM. Claimed to be soliciting for Breast Cancer.I requested a snail mail solicitation because I do not contribute to anyone that solicits me by phone. (Too bad we don't have a "phone fraud" law similar to the "mail fraud" law. All I needed for evidence is the solicitation that passed through the U.S. Postal Service. Now our Gov treats these crooks like they are the victims of our abuse ;-(

718 is a New York area code.

"local area call" and similar displays are used for VOIP (Vonage, Skype, etc) and for prepaid telecom services such as a telemarketer or fund raiser would provide.
Unless you are willing to give or be pressed very hard to do so to another charity, political organization or whatever entity falls outside the Do Not Call parameters - DO NOT answer the call!

He called tonight asked for my wife.  After I said she was busy.  He said his name was Jerry and hung up on me.
