This has nothing to do with your call. It's pure coincidence.These trolls are not selling knee, back braces or anything else, but rather trying to confirm your ID and match it to a phone number. It's part of a skip tracing effort by a junk debt collection agency. Once they figure out their spoofed number has been blocked they switch to another spoofed number. No legit company would ever pursue any individual with such determination. They've got ulterior motives and they're not good.
I got call from 718-354-8816. My Call Id showed NY NY. A message was left on my machine saying that I requested information and that's why they were calling. I don' ever remember call them! I will block this number.
ID says New York. Back brace scam.press 1 to speak to a sales person, press 2 to be removed from list. I pressed 2 but was imediately connected to an sales person anyway. Asked to be taken off call list and the person said "no".
