Have gotten calls for the past 4 days in spite of informing them that we are on state and national no call lists....they hang up when questioned.

Caller refused to identify himself or who he was calling for. Asked him again several times the same questions. The caller went silent & hung up!

Answered phone. Foreign speaking man (Creole) asked if I was the homeowner. When I responded "no", he hung up on me.

No message and Caller ID listed it as "OUT OF AREA". Do Not Call is worthless and not likely to improve. What would work is an agency that provides an instant transfer feature with the capability of locking onto the offending number and going after them. Then, use their call log to ask the people who were dialed if they found the call intrusive. Take the number of intrusive calls and convert that to dollars or days in jail. Do the crime then do the time. Scum bags.
