Called my cell phone. Caller ID stated NY. I did not answer. No message left.

I prefer no message from unfamiliar callers.

Called my cell phone, no message.  Caller ID said NY so I did not answer.  No answer when I called back.  

Called my cell.  Did not leave a voice mail.

Got a call from "Pratt Institute  718 399-4419"   I answered and a recorded lady's voice said that they had an important message about my credit card.  They are offering a reduced rate as low as 6.9% and I was to press 1 to continue to speak to someone.  I pressed '1' and nothing happened.......  So I called them back at the above number  (718-399-4419) and it rang and rang and rang......no one answered.    I was calling them back to tell them that I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST and I have NO credit card debt so am not interested in their 'offers'  and to remove my number immediately from their calling list--but got no answer so wasn't able to give them a piece of my mind........SCAM for sure!
