You made your recruiters lie to people!!! Now these people think that the recruiters who were calling them are horrible people!! They dont know that you put your recruiters jobs on the line and intimidate them into reading off scripts. BE STRAIGHTFORWARD!!! if someone wants to sell insurance they will. Also the stupid fake response is not winning anyone over!
I receive phone calls and emails from these people almost everyday. I am sick of it ,that company is too desperate to recruit people for their bogus jobs. Who wants to work for a desperate company , no one should work for a company soooo desperate. Trying to wheel you in by offering you management position ,no real companies do that ,theirs always a catch like the previous blogger said its all commission base and you require a license which sucks no matter how you look at it. And for the So call general manager of NILICO what are you doing on here writing your biography, if you was a real manager ,managing a real business i don't think you would have felt so offended by what D said which was nothing by the way for you to be defending , you would have been so occupied with running your business than to be in here ,go do your so call manager job(s).
WoW! I'm so glad I decided to look this number and company up! I thought it was weird that I got a call offering me an interview for a managerial position! There's nothing in my resume that has anything to do with managerial experience. It just felt sketchy. They said they got my resume of monster.com.
In this job climate, its just too good to be true for companies to randomly just call you without submitting a resume directly to them. I'm going to trust my instincts (and the many many many complaints on the internet) and forgo this interview.
i got a call today from this job and i with CC they call me for the same thing and dont have that in my resume but they did have resume the woman was reading from it. they told to come in for a interview now reading all this should i do it or not..
I passed the exam, went around for 3 weeks with a "manager" and that "manager" gave my sales to someone else. That manager is now awaiting his sentence for insurance fraud. NILICO is a [***] company that preys on Union Members to sign up for life insurance.
All agents are independent contractors even though NY law states that if you are told what to say, when to meet, and how to do your job -- you are an employee. You pay $$ to take a training course and pass the state exam. Some guy with plastic soled shoes tells you how extremely rich he is. They make you join some office union (even though you are an independent contractor) so that on your sales calls, you can tell the blue-collar workers that you are in a union too. It is all a huge joke.
