I received a call from this number, the man had a thick middle eastern accent, he told me that I had $8,000 in credit card debt, and he said that he could help me out of it, I told him I didn't have any debt and he just hung up.
That is exactly what happened to me too! He called and sounded almost like a voice being fed through a machine. He told me with all my credit cards I owed $5000. I only have one card and an $800 limit. I told this guy that and he hung up... whats up with that?
We got a call from the same man, who had a middle eastern accent and he said he was from Consumer Finance. When my wife asked me if I wanted to talk to him and I said no, the man started calling her names and told her to shut up ........ We tried to call back but of course it says that number is not in service. I guess we have no way of tracking this call.
we received a call from the same number and he asked to speak to my husband (whose name he mispronounced and I corrected) and when I told him he wasn't home and what could I do for him he said he would call back and that it was about his bills. I told him I was the one that paid our bills and how could I help him, he then laughed at me and said "yeah sure you do". he then hung up on me! I tried to call back and it of course was a disconnected phone number.
I received a call, that sounds like all the other reported calls. When I asked him to stop talking, so I could ask him a question. He would not shut up. I asked again, telling him I could not understand him, because of his accent. I told him I was an American and I did not do good with foreign accidents, especially those that sounded like him. Next thing I knew, he hung up.
The Caller ID said the call came from New York. Everyone needs to be made aware of this hoax.
