This company has called from numerous numbers over the last several months. They are American Financial, they speak with thick middle eastern accents, and anytime I ask to speak with a manager they tell me that I am already speaking with one, apparently everyone who works there is a manager. I tell them I am on the Do Not Call List, I either get hung up on or cursed at. Dial *57 after they call, like right after you hang up and you will hear a message that will send this trace to your phone company to report this call as harassment, not too sure what is done after that, my phone company said to even file a police report. I would love to find out the number to contact them at.
got the call - checked caller ID, didn't answer since I didn't know the number - check google - now I'm thankful for not answering the call. I am on the do not call list.
Just got his call also (3/9/2010); the when i asked why the man was calling and if i had some account with american financial he began swearing saying "F*CK You; got it - F*CK YOU" and hung up.......it was very odd......apparently the only thing you can do is call the NYS Attorney General's Office at 1-800-771-7755 to file a complaint; they will send you a form and you fill it out and return it. i've done this and urge everyone to do this....the more written complaints the more dilligent the proscecution of this crazy company.....

I received a call on 3/8/10 at dinner time from a man with a thick accent, either Middle Eastern or Indian, from American Financial. He said he could offer some help "with all of this credit card debt on all of these cards" and I stopped him and said I did not need his service, that it was none of his business and he should remove me from his list and never call back. At this point he yelled over me saying "F_ _ _ You" three times. I tried calling back and of course could not get through. I reported this to RCN, my telephone provider, and am in the process of filing a complaint with the state atty general's office
