This number called our business today at 1051 hours. Caller ID said "OCHZIFF" whatever the heck that's supposed to mean. Because I knew it was a scammer/spammer, I picked up the phone but said nothing. There was a long moment of silence and then boiler room noise as someone picked up on the call. A woman with a very thick accent asked for the owner of the business by first name (because they're buddies, don't you know?) I told her he doesn't work in the office, he works on the road, was there something I could do for her? She declined and disconnected. But I'm sure she'll call, call again because that's what scammers do. What the fool obviously doesn't realize is that they will always have to go through me, and if you annoy me, you're NEVER going to talk to the boss. Plus, I make many of the business decisions so they're really barking up the wrong tree by dismissing me.
Caller, woman with heavy Indian accent claimed that our Dunn and Bradstreet rating qualified our company for a capital loan. Told her I would give her the owners private number, Illinois Attorney General 800-386-5438.

These idiots have been calling our company every day this week. The latest call was today, at 1331 hours. Some guy cheerfully asked if he could speak with [owner's first name]. I told him, "No, you cannot." There was a pause as he processed this, then he said in a chipper tone, "Okay! I'll try him later on." I tried telling him that the boss doesn't work in the office but he, of course, ignored me and disconnected. Next time, I'm going to blow my emergency whistle into the receiver. Maybe THEN he'll understand that "no" means "NO!"
Got the same messages LML previously. Someone called our work from this number and caller ID was OCHZIFF. Never seen a name like that before. Also sounded like they were on speaker phone and I couldn't even understand the person. I think they were asking for a name but couldn't understand them they finally just hung up on me. They have called our business several times.
