Who called from 7186833104

I received an automated call on my cell phone from this number today (10/21/11 at 10:50am) indicating that my Visa Debit card had a security breach.  It then asked me to enter my card number which is when i hung up.  I searched the number online and found that this is a scam to obtain your personal information.  It also said the number originated in NY.

I got a call on my cell phone? from (718) 683-2265      . It said "We regret to inform you that due to a security breach, we have deactivated your Visa debit card. In order to reactivate your debit  card please press one. then asks you to enter your Credit Card Number.
Call my bank and my card is fine.
They never said What institute they were calling from either.

Called my cell phone and made it sound like there was a security violation on my credit card.. She should be arrested for fraud

I got the same one and so did my husband.  We both have verizon wireless accounts and we received the automated call with in seconds (our numbers are sequencial).  They must be going through a list.
