I was told to call this number after receiving a confirmation number to obtain my grant. I called the number and a male with a foreign accent answered placed me on hold for 2 minutes and disconnected the call.
I received a call from 1-000-000-0000 saying I was selected to receive a $7,000 government grant. The lady then asked me how do I want the money to be sent. By direct deposit into my account or through Western Union. She gave me this 718-705-4266 number to call and the number just kept ringing.
Tell them you have a trace software installed on your computer and ask for their name and Identification number. Tell them you hare tracing their call as you speak. They will immediately hang up. These CONS!!
I too receive the same call stating I was awarded a $7000 federal grant. The mans name was supposably Lenny Brown. He wanted me to wire $290 for a security deposit, and then I would receive the grant money. How do we find out what is up with this?
