These are new people calling for someone we do not know, but it seems to be business as usual in my house.
This time this is "Redline Recovery Services", very very very rude people or they think we will be scarred enough to pay someone else's debt. They started calling end of March and call at all hours, before 8 am (ILLEGAL) and after 9 pm (ILLEGAL) but they don't care. No matter how we tell them we do not know the person they are asking for they keep claiming we are lying. My husband even threatened them severely and all they did is laugh.
We have reported the number to the FTC and filed a claim with the court. The FTC in our experience does not do much, but the court system does. We filed proof they are calling the wrong people and harshly harrasing us we are waiting for a hearing date. Then they will have to pay us $500 per call.
I leaned that from a neighbor who had the same problem with other collection agencys and he collected over $7,000.
