i'm tried of the calls stating that there is a action againist me and/or my lawyer should call them today. i have been getting these calls for over 3 months. the call are in a set of 3, starts on monday, then on wednesday and ending on friday. always using the same name of who is calling( on two of the days normal english: on the last their make the mistake a leave a forgien name) leaving no company name or using a company name you cannot understand. the numbers they are calling from are non-existing. used to work for the phone company i know that all phone numbers whether calling in or out is a standard set of ten numbers...(area code 3 digits) + (3 digits prefix) + (4 digits line number). per my lawyer if there is a lawsuit or court action towards you, you should get a LETTER stating that actions againist you. just let them leave their message DON'T answer any of their call and report the calls. also try changing your number and start screening your calls. if you don't know the number DON'T ANSWER THEIR CALLS...the your voice mail or answer machine answer for you.
Make sure when you rec'v this call you let them know
that you have called the Federal Trade Commissioning
as well as reported their scam to the FBI along with the# giving.
check your credit report and make sure that when you report
the phone call to federal trade commissioning you get a conf#
This is a really hot scam right about now and if they catch a person
off guard you will be come a victim with wiring money. These are
some horrible times where as people pray off of innocent people
trying to make ends meet.
718-732-0170 has been calling my cell for over a year now. They honestly have the wrong number and keep asking for another woman. I have sternly told them to stop calling they have the wrong number. They try to get me to give my info (yeah right). Same foreign language guy keeps calling. If it goes to message he starts yelling to call NOW, ect. Honestly can't understand him, lol. Don't know who they want or what it is for but sounds really fishy to me. Beware!!! Oh when they used to call a few months ago it displayed a number but now it says "no number", tricky and a dead give away of someone not wanting you having their number.
I have been getting calls from this 718-732-0170 at my place of employment which is a very busy hospital intensive care unit. I need them to stop. I returned this call and some man with an indian accent says they are a litigation department and there is a case against me in the state of Florida. I do not even know where this case came from. I never received any letter and they had my name, work number, and my e-mail address. Is this a real number??
I also received a voicemail stating it was specifically for me. I thought the person was saying Retirement but finally realized, after several listenings, that it was "return my call". The guy stated his name is Kevin Barnes but had such a heavy accent I could barely understand much of what he said. Then it almost sounded like a threat at the end as he stated that if I didn't return his call, it was on me and good luck with the (couldn't make this out) litigation or affadavit or certification.....This is my place of employment and I do not appreciate this as I believe it is a scam.
Received the 100th plus call from "Daniel Martin" with the heaviest Indian accent I've ever hear...so I know you are a fake, and not a true Daniel Martin. I will not call you back Daniel Martin, keep on calling my job, and as soon as I can figure out as to SUE you, I will for harrassment! Stop calling me. I know you and all your other people are scam artists!
