HI I PHONED BELL CANADA AND GAVE THEM THIS PHONE NUMBER. PLEASE IF YOU GET A CALL FROM THEM REPORT IT TO YOUR PHONE COMPANY. THE PHONE COMPANY NEEDS TO KNOW THIS INFORMATION BEFORE THEY CAN DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. PLEASE REPORT THEM!!!!! THANKS
Well I just got the call about my computer and when I saw the 718 area code I hung up and called the police right away because I live in the South nowhere near NY. I also called my phone company and internet service about the call.

I was told that they got my information from my registration card to Microsoft! I registered with microsoft 11 years ago, and I've had ten different phone numbers and 8 different addresses since I registered!
Funny how they managed to track me down, stating my computer has been sending them reports for the last two weeks! My computer has been packed up for 4 months, I'm in Afghanistan on tour! I thought it was hilarious when they called my cell phone!
the 1-718-783-8996 calls me 4 -5 times a day ! He barely speaks English and sounds Asian ! says he works for Microsoft and needs me to sit in front of my computer to do a couple things i told him No ! that I will call my company and hung up ! he called right back and doesn't stop! Ive now reported this to my phone and internet company and the police!
