Lately been getting these sort of calls in groups or 3 or 4 numbers...all calling and ringing the phone a couple of times...a pause, then same again from another number...all in less than a single minute.
Guy with a foreign accent called my cell and asked for be my name. He said I had received a $5000 government grant. I suspected a scam, so I told him I wasn't interested.
Got a call from this number on my mobile, hear people in the background then they hung up. Called back, it did half a ring, then just a high pitch whistle.
Just got a call..830am, from some wingnut who couldn't speak more than 3 english words at a time saying she was from windows and i had downloaded a malicious virus...click!!
