This one was odd. Caller ID shows Brooklyn Hebrew School and a BBB listing of the number is for some water proofing contractor. A NY number calling to California is suspicious whether a school or water proofing.
I called this number back to see what the heck this was....it's not a Hebrew school at all. It's a group home for the mentally disabled that some scummy scammer is using. The guy said he's been getting calls from all over the US from people who had gotten calls. He was very apologetic and kind. Poor guy!
