Did not answer the call/went to voicemail. Said his name was Chris Wilcox and was from the US Treasury Dept. He was clearly Indian/Pakistani and reading from a script. Calling to inform (NAME) was under investigation by the treasury dept and that he should get a lawyer. Not only does the IRS/Govt. or whoever not cold call, he said (NAME) was my dog that passed 3 years ago. smh
Called for me. Said I was not Sue Minchew since I no longer go by that name. Said to have her call immediately because it was important. He said his name was Shawn or Sean Eperson at 718-873-9187. Foreign accent and would not tell me what it was concerning.
Got a voice message from a man like the other post my child heard it and thought I was going for jail.
So sad people would scam like this.
Can the BBB do something about this I know there are hundreds of scammers out there doing the same.

I don't answer numbers I don't recognized, so they left a voice message. Will call for Department of Legal Affairs. He was clearly foreign and reading from a script.
Messages is intended for (my name) reaching me in regards to law enforcement actions that have already been started or taken place. If I can't call back, I should have my legal attorney do it for me. Never left a name.
