Same thing happening to me. I never pick it up because anyone that would know me for something important would leave a message or it would be identified in my address book, so when the call comes in I know who is calling. I am registered as well on the National Do Not Call List. It is baffling and very irritating to me to say the least.
I use a VOIP service called Teleblend, yes, that's the name. The have a wonder portion of their service in which you call block a unlimited number of telephone callers and its included in the price of the monthly fee, about $18. I can see a daily record of those blocked calls and I laugh at those clowns. No I am not spamming, I am a very satisfied user and have been for 5 years. Go to their web site and check it out.
If you're getting these calls on your cell phone you can try to block them with your provider's service. I think Verizon has a blocking service. If your provider does not have one, then try the following (this is for Sprint phones but may work for others as well):

1Make sure the number you want to block is listed in your phone's contact list.
2Navigate to the "Settings" menu on your phone. Refer to your phone's user manual if you cannot locate this menu.
3Scroll down the Settings menu and click on the "More" option. On most phones, this is the last option listed under the Settings menu.
4Locate and click on option 10, "Restrict and Lock." There will be several options listed here, but the one you want will be labeled "1. Voice."
5Click on the Voice option. Depending on the model of your phone, you may have to enter a lock code---this is usually the last four digits of your phone number.
6Click the "1. Restrict" option. Then select "Incoming Calls."
7Navigate through your contacts list to select the number you want to restrict

These poeple have been calling like 10+ times a day, even though I answered once, and plainly said "I am NOT interested, remove my name from your calling list and do not call this number ever gain." That was about 2 weeks ago, still getting several calls a day..... SCAM...work from home thing I think....
