Just called from New York area, leaving only about 5 seconds of silence on my on my answering machine before hanging up. Typical telemarketer behavior.
I said hello and heard the familiar pause and then the "click in" because they knew it wasn't a machine. I never spoke at all and the heavily accented voice said "I'm calling from the Green Energy Company"......I did not pay attention to the rest of the spiel.....when he realized no one was talking back, he hung up.
