if you get a call from college bound, call them back and an actual real live person (can you believe that?!) will answer and ask them to remove you from their calling list.

This is one of about 6 #s that have flooded my cell in last 5 days that are college info related. They claim I filled out an online form requesting information, which is absolutely false. This smacks of the scamming calls for car warranties that were relentless last fall and is timely (for a scam) given this is the time of year students are applying to schools. Additionally, online college enrollments are surging due to unemployment. I did pick up on one call and lady said she was from a college in Fla, but when I checked the # afterwards, it had a Phoenix area code....hmmm. Report these #s to the Federal do-not-call registry.
