Received 2 calls from 719-387-0327 within 4 hours. I did not pick up as I don't know anyone in Colorado Springs, CO. The voice message said that if I don't response within 24 hours then the local police would come and arrest me. I google this number and came to this site. Thanks guys.
The message was ridiculous and made no sense. I'm not a Colorado resident and the "coops" don't handle IRS debts. This is absurd. Deleted the voicemail. Obvious scam.
Threatened to take me into custody over a tax issue. I asked them to send me paperwork and they refused and said i would be arrested in 24 hours if I did not pay over the phone. Scam!!!! I called the IRS and there was no problem.
