Received 2 calls from 719-387-0327 within 4 hours. I did not pick up as I don't know anyone in Colorado Springs, CO. The voice message said that if I don't response within 24 hours then the local police would come and arrest me. I google this number and came to this site. Thanks guys.
Same as others, they called from IRS..liars!! Called twice, left 2 voicemails ... Threatened me that the COOPS will come to my house and arrest me within 24 hours if I don't call back. They need beat with a baseball bat, they're trying to scare the elderly that may be confused....shame on them!!
I received several calls from this number as well as a Dallas exchange. Both calls left the same message. I found the calls annoying but amusing, so I called them back . Someone did answer the call but hung up as soon as I questioned him.
I just got the same call. I called them back. He said he was from the IRS. I told him I didn't believe him. He said if you don't believe me then just hang up. I said what is your name and badge number. He was clearly of Indian descent with his accent. He said he name was Melvin Jones and badge # was 3694356. Anyway I just hung up, because he already knew my name and zip code and that kinda freaked me out. I know it was not irs but not sure what kind of scam it is.
