my daughter received a call from some female threatening her to give my number regarding a debt owed for a check. she told them she'd relay the message to me. i then received a call not long after my daughters text and they were threatening i owed $720 for this so called check i owed. if i didn't pay they would take me to court and i will pay 3x the amount. they say they called my employer and my employer gave them all the info. the female associate for this company was very rude, demanding information such as my address, how much my monthly income is, my mortgage payment...etc. she says my employer gave her the info then i asked why would they need all this from me if my employer already gave it to them. she said because she would compare the info and cut me a deal to make payment arrangements, depending on how honest i am regarding my info. i told her i would not give her any info, she again threatened suing me in court for 3x the amount, i told her go ahead and hung up on her. my boss said they did call and he was questioned all the info but he did not disclose any of my information to them.
just asking me for my info to compare "what my employer already gave them was a red flag for me" and to sue me for 3x the amount is ridiculious i would not entertain their call again.
THEY CALLED MY COUSIN'S NUMBER AND THEY HAD MY BIRTHDATE INFO. BUT T SAID HE WAS MR. MARTIN. I WAS TO CALL IN 1/2 HOUR OR A DECISION WOULD BE MADE WITH OUT ME. HE WOULD 'NT SAY WHAT IT WAS ABOUT, BUT GAVE THE 877-299-1175 NUMBER. WHO DO I REPORT THIS TO?
well now that i read all these posts no wonder they would not give me and address of their own business. calling us for some "relative" really a baby momma for my husbands brother! these people are rude idiots.. we spoke with them in aug.2013 said we would not receive any more calls... then they call MY parents.. they have no clue who this is about... they used my husbands name! not truely who they are looking for, they wouldnt give me the info they have. they wanted me to give the number of my family members so they wouldnt call them ! NO WAY. i started to give partial numbers. then they hung up.. they didnt like my attitude of the day! go figure
i HAVE RECIEVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM THE SAME NUMBER BUT MINE IS A WOMAN NAMED MS REESE
SHE COLLECED THE MONEY BUT NEVER SENT IT TO THE COMPANY SHE WAS COLLECTING FOR WHEN MAKING THE PAYMENTS I COULD REACH HER AS SOON AS THE PAYMENT WAS IN FULL I NEVER HEARD FROM HER AGAIN . THEN I GOT A CALL FROM ANOTHER COLLECTION AGENTCY FOR THE SAME AMOUNT AND I TOLD THEM I ALREADY PAID THIS LOAN AND THEY SAID THATS WHY THEY CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW THEY NEVER RECIEVED THE FUNDS . I AM CURRENTLY WORKING WITH MY BANK TO HAVE THE FUNDS
REVERSED.. AND FILE A CLAIM AGAINST THIS DAVIS ROGERS AND ASSOCIATES OUT OF AROUA CO.
