I received a call from this number looking for another person. I told the guy he had the wrong number, he got upset and said well... do you owe any taxes, I said no and he said they were tax attorneys, got upset and hung up.
call came through initially with only the number. Called them back and asked who they were and he said Dartmouth Financial.
When I hung up they called back again. This time they had the Dartmouth Financial on the caller ID with the same number.
Not that this matters but this is a DNC number and I have never done business with this organization. Nor do I owe anything. Left no message.
This company is a telemarketer. They are trying to use strong arm methods to scare you into using/needing their services. They claim that you owe on back taxes with Fed or State and use phrase like "new laws" in place wont protect you from the govt. taking your bank account or home. These are nothing more than scare tactics. When I wasn't falling for their song and dance the caller got real nasty and then hung up. I called back and he continued to rant and then hung up again. I called him back again and informed him I would be filing a complaint with National Do Not Call Registry and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. It was fun to harass the telemarketer for a change!
