I received a call from this number looking for another person. I told the guy he had the wrong number, he got upset and said well... do you owe any taxes, I said no and he said they were tax attorneys, got upset and hung up.
Thank you to those who commented on this particular number. I received a call this afternoon that I missed, called it back, only to have a man ask me how long ago I called. I could hear what sounded like a telemarketer background with other people talking in the background. Said he was going to pull my file. I asked "where are you calling from?" He said Dartmouth Financial. No clue what he was talking about. Said I had a lien against my tax return. Also, how are you going to pull a file when you didn't even get my name. I don't owe anything. Hung up on him, called back and left no message. Called again about 30 minutes later. Again no message. Well if it's important don't you think that he would have left some kind of information? Geesh, looks like they're after our hard earned money already and it's not even the end of the month! Stay smart everyone!
