I am so glad that I googled this number (720-285-4480). They said pretty much the same thing to me that they've said to everyone else. "I'll pay the full amount, plus extra for shipping overseas to a cousin as a gift. And we'll use PayPal, okay." Who buys their cousin a wedding dress as a gift? So I let them know that I'm on to them and will be turning them in.
I just had the same thing happen. Posted an item on Craigslist this morning. This person texted from 720.285.4480 saying they wanted to buy for cousin overseas using paypal. They also stated I needed to arrange the shipping. Of course before we got to the 3rd text I had already Googled the number & looked up this post / thread. Thank you all for your help in posting here. Praying that we might be able to save someone grief & money.
This number just did the same thing to me. Please anybody out there do not do this. He told me he wanted me to ship it to his cousin over seas as well. It is a SCAM!!
Said they wanted something for their sibling overseas and got crazy when I said I couldn't send it immediately because I was at work. And now is harrassing me through text. Confronted them and no reply.
It is defiantly a scam. They texted me asking if the item I had was still in good condition because they wanted to send it to their cousin overseas for their birthday. Offering me $200 & $100 for shipping. Asked for my pay pal I figured it was a scam so I didn't give it to them
