Actually, the DNC list does work. Big and legitimate businesses do abide by it. Obviously, the scammers and shady businesses don't care about the DNC list. That's where the problem comes in, plus those exempt from the list (political calls, etc.).
Same as above responses. Something about a fantastic business opportunity that'll put an extra 6-figures per year in my bank account, but never says who they are nor what the opportunity is. Total scam looking for my cell phone number, email address, and other info that they have no possibility of getting from me.
BTW: This is why I call the Do-Not-Call legislation a total waste of time. This is nothing more than a telemarketing call trying to pass itself off as a legitimate business opportunity...so where exactly do "business opportunity" calls fall under the DNC registry?? God how I want a DNC registry that means DO NOT CALL...no politicians, no charities, no nothing!!!
Called but left no message. I blocked my number and called back to hear the outgoing message of how I can earn a six-figure income every month. They requested that I leave my name, phone number and some other information. Right… The number is now blocked.
