Yes, I know, if a debt collector calls you then you must absolutely owe the money, right? You people are all alike, trying to convince people to pay for nonexistent debt, calling the wrong house, not providing proof that the debt is real and most importantly that you have the legal right to collect it. Take your shilling elsewhere. This scam has been blown wide open. Anyone receiving a call from this criminal organization should immediately sue them into oblivion.
You need to send them a certified, return receipt debt validation, cease and desist calling, or "not me" letter (think of it as the best $6.47 you ever invested). Also send it first class mail in case no one will sign for it. Make a notation of that fact at the bottom of the letter. You also need to report them to the proper agencies to which I have provided links to. Then you need to go out and get a consumer lawyer to sue them on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket) and let them pay you for the harassment. If everyone did these three things, these crooks would be bankrupt and we would all be the richer for it. Use these web sites to find an attorney in your state that will probably take the case on a contingency basis (no money out of your pocket up front): http://www.consumeradvocates.org/

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) postmarked within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt. It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes. The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Yes, your bosses are well known debt scammers. "Remember, callers like Nick are simply doing their job, and only you can be blamed for getting them to call you in the first place.." Except for the multitude of people that get called repeatedly every day over nonexistent debt from criminal outfits like this. By the way, you must certainly resemble your screen name if you think you can come here and get us to believe that BS. After all, if you knew who called, why would you need to look up the number?
Nicely done BigA! I wonder how overjoyed "Joyous" will be with your post? The Shill responds to a post regarding a new number being used by his group of bottom feeders & runs smack in to a brick wall!
They never learn, do they?
Live Well.

Wow, BigA. That's a TON of info. :-) I know my ex needs to pay off debt(s), though, because every single time things would get difficult, or my ex couldn't pay for something, such as payments on such debts, or any other time things didn't go as my ex would want, my ex would essentially run away from the problems, hoping the problems/issues wouldn't follow. (My ex didn't understand things like "credit", either, thinking that all was ever truly needed on a credit card was a signature, and that's it.) So I know without a doubt these debts are legit & need to be taken care of. I -- as in me personally -- am not going to be the one to pay or otherwise take care of them. I hope this helps explain where I was coming from & making my point better. :-) Nonetheless, BigA, I sincerely & greatly appreciate all that info you provided, so thank you very much! :-) Hope you are likewise not dealing with any harassing calls or anything of the sort! God bless! <><
No, but one good thing came out of it, besides alerting us to this new number that is. I got to update my report. The BBB page was down when I first did it. Now it shows how these sleaze balls violate Federal and State Collection laws. Looks like it is going to be another hot one here today. I'm going to try to stay in the A/C.
