Got a call from that same number telling me that my name and bank acct has been used in a legal matter. I just got my bank acct and always had prepaid cards so I think this is a scam b/c when he called it sounded like he was trying to disguise his voice to make it sound raspy. This is too fishy for me. His name is Marcus Johnson
I just got a call from this guy, Marcus Johnson. Sounds completely high on something or intoxicated. Calling him back just to mess around with him. Lol. these people make me laugh, especially since they think we are dumb enough to fall for this.
Got a call from this "agency" as well. Claiming felony charges being filed against me for payday loan I never took out ... from a bank that I never had an account with! Total scam. Don't fall for it. The recording is some guy claiming to be "Marcus Johnson." I may have also gotten calls from "Marcus" linked to other "agencies."
I got the EXACT SAME MESSAGE threatening me with legal complications if I don't call back. I tried to call back (I blocked my number though with *67). It sounds like a cell phone and no one answered...and the VM was a standard greeting with NO company name. SCAM!! There are a lot of them happening now. This is the 5th one I have gotten within a week. Please be careful everyone!
