Caller ID said Denver CO since 720 is in my blocked list we never heard it ring :) this was 8:37 PM last night. It takes a real p r i c k to call elderly people that late at night.
I stupidly answered the phone call and it was from a company offering to give you a free security system in exchange for putting a sign in your yard promoting their business. It gave you the option of dialing 1 to be put through to an operator and 2 to be taken off of their call list. Like an idiot I pressed 2, and 5 minutes later I received another phone call from a Tampa number 813-867-2057. When I answered that call nobody said anything, so obviously the first number is just phishing for live numbers... do NOT answer the phone if they call!! They are scammer SCUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHY WOULD ANYONE ANSWER THESE CALLS???
We have had the 720 area code blocked for over a year thanks to our Di*it**e cal blocker.
Folks, STOP answering these scam calls!
If everyone would ignore these calls OR purchase a call blocker that can block entire area codes - this crap would stop!
