It's not just godaddy - yesterday I renewed/purchased several domains from network solutions, today a dozen calls or emails like this... you have to wonder if this is just another way to get you to purchase "private listing" for your domains...
I too got a call from 720-452-0952.Looks like a whois.com domain registration chaser. I have so many public WHOIS accounts, I get calls all the time like this.
Yeah,, Updated GoDaddy dns a few days ago and have had several hangups and this is the only new event that has happened. If they are going to call to verify then speak the GOD DAMN and now ton of prank callers. Called and I answered and they hung up.
