It worked. You answered the phone. The pest called you on Sunday because they figured most Americans are home and awake on Sunday afternoon. Now they know you answer random calls on Sundays. You can expect more calls from more telemarketing or scamming pests.
They called rang once and since I've been watching posts about scammers calling I called back to mess with them. I supposedly won $100 card I can use at Best Buy and I was messing with the guy giving fake name and bday he said ok yes we got you in the system, I wanted to laugh so I hung up.
My phone rang, I answered as I'm expecting several calls and no one was on the line. Same thing happened last week but on a different phone number. I work in freelance writing & editing where I rely on phone calls from numbers not in my phone book. I cannot have spammers/pranksters ruining my business.
