Text message from this number asking to send certified check to pay for an item I'm selling. They said they are in CA, but will send a "mover" to my house, if only I would give my address.
Robocall claiming to be the "IRS" as well as Internal Revenue Services, attempting to to collect a tax debt of some sort. We let voice mail pick up and aren't stupid enough to call the number back.
NOTE: The real IRS will NEVER call you to collect a debt, they mail a letter to your filing address. Picking up these calls and/or calling back these morons just adds your phone numbers to more and more lousy lists.
I received the same bogus call from the "IRS" The IRS does NOT call you for anything regarding your taxes. You would receive a letter, most likely registered from them. Please warn your friends and relatives about this bogus number!
