Our company has been getting annoying robo-calls from "Sharon, your local Google Specialist" promising top page listings on Google several times a week for months. Local? We aren't even in the same country. Most from 720-608-3740 Colorado. One allegedly from Denmark. Another from Maine. Today's added a 011 on the front of the 720 (there is no 72 country code) - ignored. Will have to block. Hoping Google will act against them, but not holding my breath.
This is a robo call from a telemarketer who claims to represent Google. They do not, and are total crooks. Please, occupy their time as much as you can -- every moment you tie them up is a moment they aren't scamming someone else.
I missed their call to my cell phone but wasn't sure if it was important since I use this line for work. I blocked my number and called from my land fax line and got this message "Please press any digit to be removed from this list. This may take 24-48 hours, thank you." What I've been doing now with these spam calls is saving the number in my phone as "Solicitor" and iphone now has an option where you could block the number straight from your phone without paying an additional fee to your service provider.
