Called our business line, but I was on another call so I let it go to VM. No message was left, nothing on CID other than the number 720-634-0290.

Didn't die for March. LOSER

they call every day---at least twice a day.  They leave no VM

They call our office every single day for over a month and there is no one on the other line so I hang up. Getting irritating.

If anyone on the other end does say something.... don't ever use the word "yes" ... it's a new form of hacking/identity theft.

There have been several telephone scams in which the caller tries to elicit a "yes" answer from the called person.  Those scams have been around for at least four years.

The good part is ... Snopes states there are NO verified reports of people actually getting charged because of their "yes" answer.

Interesting observation:  There are quite a few reports of the "Can You Hear Me" scam here ... and those reports tell readers not to say "yes".  However there are at least as many "phony IRS" scams reported here ... but many of those reports ask "is this real?".

Why the difference?

Maybe, just maybe the "Can You Hear Me" scam was described on several TV newscasts, distorted, then passed on in casual conversation. The "phony IRS" scams are less "advertised".  If this is true, perhaps YOU need to learn more about telephone scams.  Visit
