My experience duplicates the ones already listed. Only difference is she said it was due to a very important financial matter that Mr. Culter needed to discuss.
Call came into our business over VOIP line. Caller was a woman with a clipped northern accent, asked to speak to Business owner who makes financial decisions. I advised she would have to leave a message. She stated Trent Cutler (sp?) and phone number. I asked what this was in reference to and she said that would have to be discussed with owner. I asked her if the business owner would be expecting the phone call and she said no. So... circular file.
Called my business 2 hours before opening. Asked to talk to the owner. I said I wasn't available. I asked what it was in reference too and if I could take a message. She would leave no message and asked for my cell phone. The number is based in Colorado and came in on a VOIP. I don't do business in Colorado and they didn't know the owners name. Scam call.
