My caller ID showed an Unknown number with no message left. Therefore, that = telemarketers and or skammers. NEVER give or verify personal or financial information to ANYONE who makes an unsolicited call to you!!!
Got a call from Hutter Irene 720 851 4203, three times in last two days, I chose not to answer and the call terminated with the answering machine. Earlier today, I got another call wherein a woman sounding like she was in a boiler-room kept saying Hello twice and lasted about two minutes before she disconnected..... Related, don't know, but I suspect so.
Exactly! And don't say "yes" when asked if you can hear them. If they know your name and any other information, they can use your voice for accepting anything via phone (such as credit card inquiries, accepting terms or conditions, or even making payments).
