I just received a call from this number. When the caller said they were trying to deliver a package and press #1 - I hung up. I just checked the Better Business Bureau's web site when I read the comments above that they have identified themselves as Legal Mediation Services. According to the BBB website, this company has gone out of business. There are over 30 complaints registered against this company - which shows as being out of Atlanta. Interesting scam. Glad I hung up.
Just another scam company. Auto message saying they had an undeliverable package for me. Pressed 1 to speak with someone and he said I had an unpaid payday loan from 3-5 years prior that was in collections and they needed to send me court documents. I told him I have never had a payday loan and to send me proof. He said he would "tell his client". He never asked me for an updated address, anything. I have been on some scam artist call list for a while. This is another phone number that has been blocked in my phone.
This number called me twice so I called back. same as all of the other comments above. said I owed money from 5 or more yrs ago and that I had a court date in December or January. they had tried to deliver to the address on file and I wouldn't sign for it. I work from home and no one tried to deliver anything while I was here nor did they leave a note that they had missed me and would try to deliver again like they ALWAYS do. BEWARE of this scam.
Recieved a call from this number saying I owed 1200 on a payday loan and that they were trying to send a summons. Whatever. I dint believe this at all.
